Today was a long day, but a fruitful one. Drove the Director and D.P. around, looked at a couple of places, and stumbled upon a gem of a location. It’s just basically awesome all around, we can get a ton of our shots there over the course of several days without having to do a company move at all. Best part is, the location is only 8 minutes from the production office.

I have been learning at what seems to be an exponential rate. Just being around Joel and Irv (the Cinematographer) for the course of the day has been like being in the trenches and taking fire. I’ve gotten to know them on a personal and professional level. Irv showed me how to get better shots with my still camera for greater effect and for doing better location scouting.

Tomorrow, auditions downtown. So stay tuned and I’ll tell you how that went.
