Sony CEO Howard Stringer gave a keynote speech at Nikkei Electronics Asia that for the most part sounded like a lament about losing their chance to beat Apple to the punch in the digital music area. But that’s not what really got my attention.

Just got back from seeing Star Trek at the theater. Aside from a few glitches at the place I went to (there’s no other theater within 50 miles), the movie surprised me.
Due to the recent merger of William Morris and Endeavor Agency, our Pitch Special has been postponed this week. Our guest, Chris Lockhart, who works for Ed Limato, is really busy right now with the merger and couldn’t make it. So, we’re going to take advantage of the situation and give ourselves a little break.
The bound galleys for Horror Screenwriting: The Nature of Fear have just come in! If you’re not familiar with them, this is the last step in the printing process prior to going to printing a full batch. This is also my last chance, as well as my editor’s, to catch any mistakes and correct them.
Although I was there for only 5 hours, I had a blast at the Full Moon Tattoo & Horror Festival. The show’s organizers did a really awesome job of putting it together, although I think they could’ve used just a tad more space for some of the show, especially the tattoo section.
I’ll be heading up to the Full Moon Tattoo & Horror Festival in Nashville on Saturday. Not as a participant, but merely a spectator.
Rather than let the dust collect on the blog whilst being elsewhere, I thought I would share a video that I chopped together back when I had something called spare time.
I’ve been really and truly too busy to post anything for the past few days. Once the dust has settled and I have a moment to breathe, I’ll be able to go into some more details here. For now, they’re all hush-hush, top secret things that I cannot speak of until the ink is dry on the paper.
