The short film has in the past received short shrift. YouTube and other sites have changed all of that. Digging through my bookmarks and favorites list, I decided to compile what I think are some of the best I’ve seen so far out there.
What is amazing about all of these is the ingenuity and lack of budget involved in most of them. Some of them have some warts, but that doesn’t stop them from telling a compelling story. These show what people all over the world are doing with modest equipment and a lot of imagination.
Anyway, here are the shorts, in no particular order. I highly recommend watching these at fullscreen in HD resolution.
