Those of you who tuned in got quite a bit of information from Greg Beal, head of the Nicholl Fellowship.  Greg was a surprise last-minute addition.  I didn’t know he was coming on until about an hour before the show started.  In my opinion he gave some excellent advice for screenwriters who enter competitions.  The Nicholl Fellowship is the cream of the crop in terms of screenwriting contests and has been around for a long time.  If you have the chance to, give it a shot.

The interviews with both Amy Kaufman and Aubrey Kelly provided both sides of this controversy surrounding Fade In’s own screenplay contest.  I only think time will tell as there is still some ongoing litigation surrounding it, but I encourage everyone to do their due diligence and make their own decisions about this before going on.
