To all of those who are reading my blog through Amazon’s Author Central, welcome! Rather than try to maintain multiple blogs, I’ve hooked up this blog through the wonders of RSS feeds into AC.
A lot of different things seem to be happening all at once regarding the book today. It seems a bit overwhelming, but I’ll try to get through it all.
As with the music and movie industries before it, now the “publishing” world is jumping on the bandwagon and trying to control even more with outrageous claims.
When the Kindle 1 reader came out from Amazon, I thought it was a step in the right direction for e-book readers. Its somewhat limited capacities and features left me wanting more. Then the Kindle 2 came out. And the Author’s Guild is up in arms about it. But not anyone else it seems.
