Just wanted to give a long-overdue update. The ART\Work podcast has been officially cancelled. It was a nice concept and I hope Deane Ogden keeps it in mind for a possible future resurrection.
The main problem we encountered was not enough traction in listenership and sponsorship. If you’re doing a one-man show and it’s sporadic (read:not devoting whole days to it), then this isn’t a problem.
But it wasn’t a total loss. I was able to connect with Deane, Oliver Landsberg-Sadie, Tom Salta, and Fredo Viola. These guys are some seriously talented musicians and composers.
That said, I’m working to do another episode of my Sane Madman Podcast here soon. Having a decent microphone will help with that. And that’s one thing I do want to keep going, even if it is sporadic. At the very least I’ll keep doing it because it’s fun.

Damn!! It was such a good concept and such a wonderful collection of talent and insight. It says something that people and sponsors are not interested in listening to the nuts and bolts of creativity.
Perhaps I can help you exercise that mic at some point!
