It’s been a busy last few months for me. Sadly something had to be left out, namely the blog. But, I’m coming back up for air and see that it’s still online. If the stats are to be believed, then there’s still a number of people coming back and reading a lot of my older posts.
My life underwent a seismic change the last few months. I got married in October, which had a lot of preparation and work on my part beforehand. Then two days after the wedding we moved the physical contents of my life to a new house with a new wife. Everything’s been… new. It’s like getting a whole new life in the span of a few days.
The adjustment to this new life is ongoing, but it hasn’t been as stressful as I had thought it would. Waking up every morning and seeing the wedding ring on my finger has become more the usual than anything else.
So what does the near-future have in store for me? Well, there were a few small jobs I had to take on to help pay for my part of the wedding (yes, grooms have some fiscal responsibilities) that have to be wrapped up prior to jumping back into writing.
One thing I can tell you is I have another book in the works. It’s not a screenwriting book, but rather one many non-writers can enjoy. Like all labors of love it had to be put on the back burner while bringing home the bacon.
The Art\Work Podcast is still in effect too, but it would seem most of us on the panel have had some pretty major upheavals (all good ones) that have forced our focus on those very important parts of our lives while nascent.
As for The Sane Madman Podcast, that one is still on. In fact, there’s another episode I’m planning right now. Unfortunately I can see this as something that might be more sporadic, as my time permits. But I will try to make each episode as good as I can. Quality over quantity.
