Never before has an illicit transaction between gangsters been done so wrong or so hilariously as it’s done in The Exchange.

Synopsis

An exchange of money for an illicit package goes awry when the translator can’t understand exactly what the other gang’s leader is saying.

Review

Can comedy be done in only 3 minutes? Apparently it can. The Exchange comes off initially as what you might think a very serious and noir-ish start. Except that the soundtrack being played completely tells a different story.

The humor then makes itself pretty apparent. A few misspoken sentences here, a few guns there, and blam! You’ve got yourself a funny shootout that could have all been avoided had some of the bad guys kidnapped the right translator.
